SharePoint Administrator

  • Saudi fresh graduate however experienced is preferred.
  • Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, software engineering,  or a related discipline.
  • Good IT Analysis and administrative skills.
  • Programming skills and good knowledge of modern HTML/CSS.
  • Problem-solving aptitude.
  • Preferred practical experience with at least one of the following programming languages: C#, ASP.NET, Java and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of databases like MS SQL or Oracle.
  • Microsoft Windows server administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable and experience in project management is a plus.
  • Professional certification (e.g. OpenText Certified Content Server Systems Administrator) is a plus
  • Good work experience in Portals & Content Management solutions (SharePoint, OpenText Content Server) in a global environment.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint capabilities including Business Data Connectivity Service, Workflow, Managed Metadata Service, User Profile Service, MySites and SharePoint Search service.
  • Installing, supporting and upgrade of SharePoint and other Portal applications.
  • Experience automating business process workflow using SharePoint designer.
  • Good knowledge of MS SQL Server administration.
  • Fundamental knowledge of Active Directory as it related to SharePoint.
  • Providing day-to-day administration and global support for Microsoft SharePoint..
  • Assisting users in the creation and management of their sites.
  • Plan and design improvements to SharePoint performance as directed.
  • Following strict operating processes and procedures as it relates to SharePoint operations and performance monitor and perform other admin level duties as required.
  • Basic knowledge of SharePoint architecture.
  • Familiarity with Content Server fundamentals - Core capabilities and limitations.
  • Custom Views (standard and search).
  • Generate Live Reports.
  • Users and Groups Administration for Content server.
  • Support Incident management, change management and problem management.
  • Troubleshoot issues and outages.
  • Monitor performance and maintain system operations.
  • Install, configure and manage OpenText Content Management Suites and its components.
  • System upgrade with new releases and models.
  • Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints, including the ability to estimate work needed.
