SAP BTP Full-Stack Developer

Salary

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant SAP certifications are an advantage.

Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP).
  • Proven experience in full-stack development, including frontend and backend development.
  • Experience with software architecture, system design, integration, APIs, and enterprise application development.

Responsibilities

Software Architecture & Full-Stack Development

  • Design and develop end-to-end technical solutions.
  • Develop full-stack applications covering both frontend and backend.
  • Apply software architecture principles, design patterns, and development best practices.
  • Review, optimize, and improve code quality, performance, and maintainability.
  • Define system integrations, APIs, and technical interfaces.

SAP BTP

  • Develop and support solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP).
  • Work with Cloud Foundry environments and deployment models.
  • Configure and utilize BTP services including:
    • Destination
    • XSUAA
    • Connectivity
  • Develop backend applications using:
    • SAP CAP
    • Node.js
    • Java
  • Develop and consume OData services.
  • Work with SAP BTP backend, UI5, CPI, and ABAP integration scenarios.

SAP HANA & Data Modeling

  • Work with SAP HANA / SAP HANA Cloud.
  • Develop and maintain CDS data models and CDS views.
  • Perform SQL development and database performance optimization.
  • Manage transactions and ensure data consistency.

SAP UI5 & Fiori

  • Develop responsive applications using SAP UI5 and SAP Fiori.
  • Apply SAP Fiori design principles.
  • Develop applications using MVC architecture.
  • Implement OData consumption in frontend applications.
  • Develop both:
    • Fiori Elements applications
    • Freestyle SAP UI5 applications

Security

  • Implement secure application designs on SAP BTP.
  • Strong understanding and practical experience with:
    • OAuth 2.0
    • JWT
    • SSO
    • XSUAA
    • Role collections and scopes
    • Certificates
    • Principal propagation

Testing & Troubleshooting

  • Perform unit and integration testing.
  • Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman.
  • Troubleshoot and debug application and integration issues.
  • Perform application and database performance tuning.
  • Support continuous improvement and optimization activities.

Development & Collaboration

  • Use Git/version control and collaborative development practices.
  • Follow coding standards and software development best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
  • Support testing strategies covering unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.
  • Contribute to technical retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
