Marketing and Events Specialist

Job Summary & Requirement:

  • Education: Bachelor in Sales & Marketing or Digital Marketing.
  • Experience Level: 2 To 6 Years.

The Event Specialist is responsible to organize and ensure the smooth operation of marketing activities (events, forums, summits, seminars, roadshows, roundtables, etc…) internal and external from planning to execution. External events are customer focused to generate leads, increase brand awareness, and boost sales while internal events are employees related to enhance internal communication and support HR and LOBs.

Major Job Duties Responsibilities:

  • Developing event concepts in coordination with LOBs and Sales.
  • Handling events with full management and in direct coordination with vendors, partners and third parties (agencies) including:
  1. Branding.
  2. Creative design.
  3. Content creation.
  4. Advertisements.
  5. Catering videos.
  6. Production (physical & digital)

Other collaterals in line with the brand /product /service directions.

  • Promoting and executing:
  1. Conferences.
  2. Conventions.
  3. Seminars.
  4. Round tables.
  5. Roadshows.
  6. Forums.
  • Handling Marketing Development Funds (MDFs) from vendors and partners and ensure proper budgeting, spending and claiming in line with the Ts & Cs of SBM and company and vendors/partners.
  • Meeting with internal and external stakeholders to discuss their needs and customize events to meet their target
  • Plan and execute lead generation campaigns.  
  • Executing effective marketing campaigns and implementing metrics to measure its effectiveness.
