Position Title:
IT Monitoring Center – Monitoring Tools Engineer

Location:
Saudi Arabia

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Network Engineering, or related field.

Experience:
2–4 years of hands-on experience in configuring, deploying, and managing enterprise monitoring tools.

Monthly Salary Package:
15,000 – 17,000 SAR

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 2–4 years of experience managing and configuring the following tools (required):
    • AppDynamics
    • Microsoft SCOM
    • Microfocus NNMi
    • Intermapper
    • Microfocus APM
    • Cisco Nexus Dashboard
    • Cisco ThousandEyes
    • DCIM and NetEco systems
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components (servers, networks, applications, databases).
  • Experience configuring monitoring thresholds, alerts, dashboards, and custom notifications.
  • Ability to deploy and integrate monitoring agents across distributed environments.
  • Experience optimizing tool performance and ensuring efficient resource utilization.
  • Ability to troubleshoot monitoring tool issues and coordinate with vendors when needed.
  • Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms and integration practices.
  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills with the ability to detect and respond to incidents.
  • Understanding of modern monitoring architectures and emerging technologies.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and knowledge-sharing skills.
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with new monitoring tools and trends.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess organizational monitoring requirements and select appropriate monitoring tools.
  • Deploy monitoring tools across the IT environment, covering applications, servers, networks, and databases.
  • Configure monitoring tools to collect performance metrics and customize thresholds, alerts, and notifications.
  • Monitor the performance, stability, and health of monitoring tools and optimize their configuration.
  • Set up alerting rules to identify incidents, performance degradation, or security-related anomalies.
  • Collaborate with incident response teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues identified by monitoring systems.
  • Integrate monitoring tools with ITSM platforms to enhance incident, problem, and change management processes.
  • Continuously evaluate tool performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and provide recommendations for monitoring enhancements.
  • Share knowledge, documentation, and best practices within the team to improve overall monitoring maturity.
  • Ensure monitoring tools support operational excellence and consistent service delivery.
